The Citizen Service Network brings together 300 organisations sharing a common goal: the implementation of a Citizen Service for young people aged 18 to 25 in Belgium. As it is the case for similar programmes that already exist in many European countries, the Citizen Service requires a legal framework and the support of the State.
The members of the Citizen Service Network fall into two categories : full members and supporting members. The Network brings together over 300 organizations from various fields of activity (federations, associations, public services, centers for social action, hospitals,…). If you’re interested in becoming a member, click on the link below.
The Network is supplemented by a support committee and a research committee made up of various personalities in favor of the implementation of a Citizen Service for young people in Belgium.
In order to reach a comprehensive vision of citizenship, the Citizen Service Network takes part in national and European networks, such as the Greater-Region network, the European Citizen Service network, and the Alumni network.
The Citizen Service Network has many partners in the pedagogical, institutional and financial circles. Thanks to these collaborations, we are actively working towards the implementation of a Citizen Service in Belgium.
