Get
involved!
Are you between 18 and 25 years old? Do you want to live a rewarding and constructive experience? Would you like to take some time to think about your future while being useful to society?
The Citizen Service is made for you!
The
Missions
Your Citizen Service is centered around one main mission. You will commit to it full-time, four days a week for a six-month period. You can choose from over 200 missions that fall into four categories: access to culture and to education, the environment, social care and education through sport.
Browse our catalogue and find the mission that suits you best!
Training
The six-month Citizen Service will also give you the opportunity to improve your skills and knowledge, and to learn about your rights and duties as a citizen. You will meet political representatives, receive a first aid training course delivered by the Red Cross, learn how to provide care to disabled people, attend training courses on ecology, and much more!
Some
Alternatives
There are many alternatives to the Citizen Service formula. You can provide care to elderly people and encourage them to share their memories, meet disabled people and engage in various activities together, produce a TV programme with other youngsters, take part in a solidarity project in Africa... There's something for every taste!
Host
organization
You are part of an organization working in one of the field we offer our missions in, and you find our programme particularly interesting?
Join us and welcome a young person into your organization for six months!
